Frequently Asked Questions

When your pet stays at Romp Pet Resort, you can rest assured we treat them with the same level of care and love as our own pets. We also know you might have questions about specifics, like what to bring and how cancellations work, so we’ve put together some of our most frequently asked questions for you below!

Can I bring lunch for my dog?

Yes! Please put it in a baggie or plastic container and label it with your dog’s name. They will be given between 12:00PM and 1:00PM daily.

Can I bring toys for my dog?

They are more than welcome to carry their favorite toy in with them, although we are unable to allow it in the playgroup with them. We carefully pick which toys we allow in the groups to prevent guarding and ingestion of toys.

How often should I bring my dog?

You’re welcome to bring your dog as much as needed! While we do not require it, we do recommend that they come in at least once a month to keep them in the routine of being here and limit their stress.

Can I bring treats for my dog?

Yes! We actually recommend any owners with pets with dietary restrictions bring in treats that sit well with their pets for enrichment activities. If your pet does have dietary restrictions, we will come with a substitute on snack days such as playing with a toy or another fun activity for them to participate in.

Do they get time to nap/relax?

Yes, we provide the dogs with raised cots in the daycare. The large majority of our daycare goers are comfortable taking a nap while their friends are playing. If we notice a dog that seems uncomfortable or overly tired, we will give them a blanket in a boarding kennel to allow them to take a rest.

What payments do you accept?

We accept cash, MasterCard/VISA/Discover, American Express. When creating your reservation a $50.00 per pet, or $25.00 for one night deposit is required to complete the reservation. Payment for your pet’s stay is required at drop off. Additional charges may be required at pickup for additional requested services such as grooming and daycare. In the case of non-payment, a finance charge or interest and collection fees will apply.

What if I need to cancel my pet's reservation?

Our facility has limited kennels, and especially during peak time we are frequently at 90 – 100% occupancy. With the lack of space we often have to turn away clients which is why we require a 72-Hour notice of cancellation in order to receive a refund of your boarding deposit.

Can I tour the facility?

Of course! Please give us a call to schedule a time for one of our staff members to show you around.
